Ian Papworth is a locally based guitarist singer/songwriter. Ian has played live for twenty five years in numerous acts such as The Crawling Kingsnakes, Blues Rumour, Twin Fin, The Paparazzi and Pap & That.
Having had lessons ad a child on piano and corner, it wasn't until he was given a guitar for his seventeenth birthday that he found his calling.
Influenced initially by acoustic artists such as Neil Young and James Taylor, the natural progression lead to electric guitar and influences like Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan and the Blues.
With a voice that has been described as warm caramel and more than adequate guitar skills, Ian has emerged as an artist to keep an eye out for.
