Charlie Farmer is an emerging indie rock artist making waves out of Newcastle, NSW. Backed by his band, Charlie takes inspiration from bands like Hockey Dad and Fool Nelson. 

Known for his captivating live performances, Charlie has been building a loyal following through gigs across Newcastle and NSW playing venues such as the Hoey Moey in Coffs Harbour. Charlie has also been seen supporting some big names these include Mac The Knife at Kahibah Sports Club for their "Drowning In Honey Tour", Clay Western at the The Lass O'Gowrie Hotel, Jordan Kenny shortly after he returned from his tour in Europe, and tons of local legends such as poltergeist 9000, Trophy Wyfe and many more. 

On the recording side of things Charlie made his Spotify debut in September 2025 with the single “AGE,” a powerful introduction that quickly caught the attention of local audiences. This song placed him in Newcastle Music Shows Steel City 50 2025 a music competition that highlights the best 50 tracks of the year in Newcastle.  Now, he’s set to follow it up with his second release, “WHAT YOU DO,” 2026 promising even more grit, melody, and momentum.
