Tennyson King 百城 is an award-winning indie-folk musician from Hong Kong and Canada, bringing his vibrant blend of contemporary folk and traditional Chinese sounds back to Australia for a three-month tour from December 2026 to March 2027.

Singing in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, Tennyson combines acoustic and electric guitar, kick drum, and the Zhongruan, a traditional Chinese string instrument. His charismatic performances weave heartfelt songs with infectious rhythms, playful road stories, and uplifting moments that invite audiences to connect, sing, and move.

His new album, 100 Cities, explores ancestry, identity, and belonging, drawing on collaborations with Chinese musicians to blend traditional instrumentation with warm, contemporary folk arrangements. It's a personal journey of rediscovery, shared through music that crosses cultures and generations.

Following international tours and a landmark appearance at Glastonbury Festival, Tennyson returns to Australian stages with performances at Woodford Folk Festival, the National Multicultural Festival in Canberra, MONA in Tasmania, Pako Festa in Geelong, and more. Equally at home in intimate listening rooms and festival crowds, he brings people together. With smooth vocals, genuine warmth, and a joyful stage presence, his shows feel like a warm hug for the soul.
