Cassie Corder is a 19-year-old singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Newcastle, NSW. Cassie first started playing guitar at the age of 10 and is a self-taught pianist. She has since performed overseas, at various school concerts, on cruise ships, as an unofficial guest, and at multiple clubs/pubs around Newcastle, the Central Coast, the Mid-North Coast and Port Stephens.

Cassie writes songs about her feelings, emotions, life experiences or messages where she feels there is a need to share them, to resonate with audiences globally. Through various genres including pop, acoustic and EDM, she explores themes of growth, self-acceptance, grief, freedom, anger, identity, hope and joy.

Alongside many other gifted songwriters, Cassie was selected as a semi-finalist in The Songwriting Prize, a national songwriting competition for her debut single “Mirror Mirror”. Her single “Dear Memory” has achieved Top 30 recognition in the spiritual category in the Australian Songwriter’s Association competition, highlighting her ability in songwriting well beyond her years.

Music is at the heart of who Cassie is. She has an extensive knowledge of her craft and a relentless determination and drive to be successful in the music industry. She is focused on performing, building her repertoire and releasing more music.

Cassie is currently working on her highly anticipated debut EP.
