𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐆𝐔𝐄𝐒𝐓...

Brendan is an Australian icon of the stage, screen and song boasting powerhouse vocals, lyrical campery and an unforgettable, vivacious star power. You might know Brendan from the disco spectacular Velvet featuring Marcia Hines, his turn as Klipspringer in Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby or more recently as the singing prison cook Possum in the film adaption of Paul Kelly’s How To Make Gravy.

Since releasing his viral break-up anthem Stupid in 2014 Maclean has gone on to release five EP’s and two top ten Australian charting albums including the electro-pop extravaganza ‘funbang1.’ Brendan has performed and supported a myriad of impressive acts including Kylie Minogue, Alan Cumming, Darren Hayes, Kate Miller-Heidke and Amanda Palmer playing prestigious venues such as The Sydney Opera House, The Sidney Myer Music Bowl and The Hordern Pavillion.

One of Brendan’s favourite shows of 2025 was supporting Meg Washington at Flow Bar back in August and Maclean leapt at the chance to return for New Year’s. And as an ex-triple j presenter he is no stranger to a DJ deck, not only be performing a set of his own tunes live but also providing the soundtrack to your New Year’s with songs from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and now. Don't miss New Year's at Flow Bar with Brendan Maclean and local legends Fringe Benefits
